PASSED IK0-002 today!!...
|
|
|
| I took the i-Net+ on 06-19-2002..
I passed with 811 out of 900 passing is 655
I used the Sybex IK0-002…
NetG IK0-001 parts 1, 2. 3. 4(OLD)
Transcender IK0-001
For the Most part The Sybex covered the Networking aspects of the
IK0-002 well but there was no difference that I could tell in the
networking portion of the book that was different from the IK0-001
Study materials I used.. The Sybex for that section was great because
of David Groth's contributions hes excellent.. On the Other hand the
co writer of the book was in need of help…. She didn't help me retain
a single objective.. Maybe its not that bad but I was dissatisfied..
The whole book was net+ jr. That would only get you passed half the
test..
For the other half I would suggest finding an old version of the
IK0-001 transcender or something. Until they get there IK0-002 stuff
in.. And NetG was ok but im sure if you look hard enough you'll find a
much better resource.
The practice tests for IK0-001 were almost identical to the actual
IK0-002… Just a few new technologies but the concepts didn't change.
I say use the old stuff it's ALMOST the same… (ALMOST!!)
It's a fairly easy test except for the business stuff.. I don't know
jack about that part…
Go get your i-Net+ and report back..
Do you best!!

| Hi,
I got a classfull of nervous i-Net+ students. We purchased the IKO-002
practice test from www.cert21.com and it was quite difficult.
It focused heavily on wireless networking questions like 802.11a anf
HomeRF. It also had quite a few IPv6 questions.
Anything like that in the real IKO-002 or are we all panicing for
nothing?
Please Help!!
Have a Nice Day and God Bless You

| NO IPv6 No wireless (802.11). It was almost like the IK0-001 i used
alot of IK0-001 and it was very very similar. It was not difficult..
The most difficult part To me at least were the business/e-commerce
questions.. They seemed to have changed.. But other than that a few
rewritten questions. and maybe 1 or 2 new technologies.. but not
enough to worry about.. It may be that I just got a lucky draw but I
feel i was under prepared and I still got a fairly good score.
