Hi,

I have A+ and Network+ under my belt now.

I work with a Business company that sells and installs
printers and digital copiers.

I find that most places (that i am installing the drivers, needed software
and setting up sharing) have not got a clue how to use their PCs.

more and more are not having a on-site network tech anymore but
someone who has been forced to the "computer guy".
I have seen the worst network setups ever.

There is still alot of win98 out there and win 2000 pro.

not alot of XP as of yet. The site of these companies
are 30 to 80 employees per location.

I would like to get a MCP now but unsure what should be next.

any ideas?

thanks

You seem to be headed into MCSE territory. I've read that MCSE is fairly expensive to obtain and the cost/benefit ratio is a bit high, however, if you already have your Comptia A+ and Network+, I believe they count toward an MCSE elective exam.

Pretty sure I meant MCSE. Maybe MCSA would be more fitting.

Take security plus, after A+ and Net+, it should be a breeze.

Mr. A,

Check out the Microsoft MCSA certification: it's not a full blown MCSE
but still builds on the A+/Net+ background. Hope that helps.

Cheers,
