How do you pronounce CIDR? Hahaha!

Like a tree as in cedar, or like the drink... as in Apple cider?

I think "cedar."

Maybe sider as in the name, Sid Vicious. Hmmmmm.

I believe it is "cider" (or the letters are spelled out).
