| I have no networking experience at all.....i have only set up a small home
network with 3-4 computers....most running XP and 98.....I read thru Mikes
All In One.....Its a good book.....I have also read thru most of Dave Groths
Sybex book......IMO get both books......You will find things in one book
that werent in the other......Dave has some better diagrams in his
book.......But Mike has better analogies.....But all in all .....i find both
books easy to read......I read both books the same way.....100 pages a day
until finished......I bought Mikes book ....but i went to borders and read
Davids book.....yea i am a cheap XXX......also i have seen Groths book on
Kazaa.....but i dont really like reading E-books......here is my current
study plan
Watch LearnKey Videos
Read Mikes Book
Read Groths Book
Read ExamCram 2
Take Transenders Tests until Passing at a very high score
Take tests in The Microsoft Network+ Book
Take Network+ Next month
Then onto I-net+ which should be cake walk after Network+
I believe Mikes Books are very good......and would recommend them to anyone
.......But Get Groths book and fill in the spaces.....it always helps to hear
the same info 2 different ways.....just incase you arent totally sure on the
topic......sometimes a lightbulb goes off and the idea makes sense
Mikes Learnkey videos are good too........he breaks things down very
nicely......makes it simple to understand concepts......but its a steep
price to pay......But so is $169 for a test that you could fail
Hey Mike If you read this.....Call Learnkey Up and tell them you want to do
a Linux+ Video set for them.......I know you can handle it .......I wanna
take that test around Feb
