Author Question on AppleTalk and routing...

Network+ All-in-One p.376:
"Like NetBeui, AppleTalk does not support routing and instead uses a
NetBIOS-like broadcast function to enable systems to recognize each other."

Syngress Press Network+ p.33
Exam Watch:
"TCP/IP, IPX/SPX/NWLink, AppleTalk, and DECnet are routable protocols;
NetBeui and DLC are not."

It was my understanding that AplleTalk was a fairly extensive protocol
suite. Is it routable or not?

Appletalk is routable. It uses a 16 bit Aplle Talk network number to
identify the network and an 8 or 16 bit Apple Talk ID to identify each node.
