Author Subnetting Test Question

Can anyone definativly say that on the N+ test you will be asked to
calculate the IP numbers of subnet mask addresses and number of host
addresses given a problem that would state, say - like you have X IPaddress
and X custom SNM - then what would the 3rd and 4th segment address be and
the 1st and last host address of the 1st segment.

I hope that I have worded this correctly. I just want to know if they ask
you to do IP, subnet, and host calculations

Thanks,

Mark

I took the test last Tuesday, passed with 793...

I studied sub-netting quite a bit and I was surprised that there were
just a couple of questions to the effect of "what is Class C subnet
mask?", etc.

As much as I studied the borrowing and lending of bits, there were no
questions on my test to that end.

Could well be on some of the other tests....

It's not part of the Network+ objectives, so don't worry about it...

Please let me know what materials you used to study subnetting in depth.
This is one of the points I need to strengthen before taking the test
sometime soon.
TIA
