I don't know anything about MCSD, but it's been my experience so far that
Microsoft books are rather vague, and frankly, I had trouble staying awake
with them. There is a LONG list of errata, at least with the 2000 MCSE core
bundle. If you've read some of the earlier posts, Sybex seems to be popular
with a lot of these folks. I would have to recommend you purchase Microsoft
AND Sybex or any other reputable book.Once you've read the easier to follow
one, Microsoft makes a little more sense, and you also have more material
for comparison. It doesn't hurt any to have more than one source, you're
still saving a bundle compared to paying Athena or New Horizons for test
emulators and little instructor access.Don't rely on one book for these
advanced certs, lest you get burned come exam time. I state this from
personal experience having relied on Mike Meyers Network + only, and missing
my first attempt by only 13 lousy points, but I do not possess the
experience that so many others in this group do.

Lisa,
You always post this stupid threads and get the same answers, why don't you
follow up on some of the previous answers you have received. Christ if you
want information on a MS certification shouldn't you look at the Microsoft
web site or do you not know how to do a search?
