Which study guides?

| Just wondering which study guides to use to study for the Network+?
I'm under the impression the test has changed since I last looked at
it and it's now two tests much like the A+ test is. Should I skip
Network+ and just go for CCNA instead and go the Cisco route right
away or keep on the Network+ path first and if so what books should I
use to study with? Thanks guys for all the help.

| Braxas,
It is one test. The two best books are Mike Meyers All In One Network+, and
Sybex's Network+ by David Groth. If you have a strong command of networks
and the material cobered by the Network+ you can skip it and go straight for
the CCNA which covers most of it anyway

| Daniel, are you saying that the CCNA exam is on the same level as the Network+ exam in terms of material covered? | |

| network+ before ccna | |

| not at all that would be stupid as the CCNA covers more material, what I
stated was that the CCNA covers everything on the Network+ exam so if the
original person who asked has a good grasp of the material they could skip
the network+ and go straight to the CCNA.

| it is true
but what i would do is do the network+ then CCNA

| if you have your CCNA or are in the process of getting it don't waste your
money on the network+, the material is covered on the CCNA

| for the most part that is true but the Network+ is not that well known so
its a waste if you have or will have the CCNA
