| 72 questions, 90 minutes allowed (appr. 60 minutes actual), 846 score.
I lurked here earlier, when I was first studying. Thanks to everyone here.
Every little bit helps. I used Mike Meyers + Sybex mostly. I don't work in
the field at the moment (just my home network), so I just kept going over
and over and over the material. I was going to take the test back in Feb.
and chickened out because of what I read here caused me to believe that the
test was harder than I had originally expected.
It was about 50% easy network trivia type questions (cable media lengths,
protocols to ports, etc.) 25% medium hard questions + 25% what I consider to
be the hardest, real life troubelshooting situations. I apparently got lucky
on some of the troubeshooting questions.

| I passed today with a 793...not what I was expecting, but I pass
anyway!!!!
Now I'm gonna take a break and next week start to "eat" the Sybex
Security + Study Guide (Third Edition,Michael Pastore).
I used David Groth Network + Study Guide, and some other files that I
found in Kazaa (although some of them have a LOT of mistakes!!!). I
spend almost 2 months and write down 120 pages in my study notebook,
that's my way to study.
Now I'm gonna try to find a job (i expect 15.00/hr, I hope so) here in
McAllen, Texas. It is fair what i expect? I have 5 year of experience
in the IT service field, worked with an ISP and service center in
Mexico, but now I'm here. If you think here is hard... just try to
find a job in Mexico!! 12, 13 hours a day, no extra pay, no time to
eat, lot of clients, and 1,000.00 month (yes one thousand dollar a
mont) maybe 1,100.00 with many years in the company.
So, I hope all pass the exam, and don't forget: take apart TV, games,
party for a little while, and you gonna have what you deserve... you
certification!!
