Can someone recommend a N+ book?
Most of the books I've seen which deal with certification seem to focus on
"passing the test", and leave out a lot of "theory" in order to cover
everything.
I'm more interesting in learning about networks, not so much passing the N+
test.

Mike Meyers' All In One is the best I've seen (and used) for the purpose of
actually learning the material.

| Hi
I agree with Rick the class I took followed the Network + book by Sybex but
some of the stuff we covered in class was not in the book so I went to the
All In One by M.M. and it had the information I needed. The combination of
the two was the best way for me.
Good Luck

| I liked the Mike Meyers All in One, its a good beginning... buts its only
that, a beginning.
I read thru it twice and i still felt that alot was missing.
Ive read that many people use both the All in One and Sybex book together.
Each seems to have something the other doesnt.
I havent read the Sybex, so i cant confirm that, but ive seen enough people
say it to think theres some truth to it.

Hi nospam:
Both Michael Meyers' "Network+ All-in-One" and David Groth's "Network+ Study
Guide" are excellent choices, IMO. You may also wish to investigate the
free/low cost links at http://www.intelinfo.com/ .
Good luck!
Tony
