re - need some help synchronizing

| hi there,
I have 3 computers - 2 desktops and a laptop - all connected with a router. All of the computer can see each other and surf the net, No problems there. All 3 computers are running Windows XP and have Office XP.
Here is what I'd like to see happen -
Desktop A - Will be used for email/ Internet and other documents.
Desktop B - should have a copy of "my documents" that is synchronized with the other 2
Laptop - Will be used for email/ Internet and other documents.
The 3 should be synchronized so that you are able to read email and edit documents for either computer.
I'd like to have a common .pst file and a common store foler on either one of the 2 desktops.
The laptop will be taken on the road but will not be used for email while it is out.
Now I can set this whole thing up (sort of ) on a single machine with multiple partitions and hard drives but as soon as I try it on a LAN it wont work. It doesnt seem to be a "rights" issue but maybe I'm wrong. Has anyone out there set something like this up and if so can you share a few secrets. Thanks in advance,
Les Dean

| My Documents is fairly easy. Figure out what "version" will be the one you want, say computer A. Then on computer B, right click on My Documents and go to properties. The first screen comes up with three choices. You want "move", and direct it to the "A Computer" version. It will ask if you want to move all the contents of your current folder to there, either answer yes or no, depending on what you want. I would probably clean out the B computer first, so there is nothing there, then it doesn't matter either way.
For the outlook.pst, click on file, open new pst, and direct it to the network save. You will end up with two folder lists on your outlook, but it should work.
