VN Publishing. any good?

| This company offers a Network+ practice test. They've been around for
awhile. Any opinions on them? http://www.vnpublishing.com/
Im currently reading Mike Myers Network+ Certification and want a
second resource to study. Any other suggestions that's reasonably
priced?

| Take a look at the test questions at Beach Front Direct, on my test last
Saturday they were the only ones even close to the type of questions on the
exam.

| yes, it was one of the few to really hit the topics well for the exam. I
also found the troubleshooting questions closer to the real thing.

You don't work for them do you ;-). Sorry to doubt you but I've seen
others peddling their wares here so Im just a little cautious.
Anyone else want to comment on Beach Front Direct or VN publishing? VN
Publishing is considerably less but if Beach Front is as Daniel says
then the difference may be worth it.

gaurantee they offer so they must be pretty confident about their
product.
Daniel, what else did you use to study for the test?

| No I am not an employee nor do I get any money for mentioning them. I am
just a test taker that used them to pass my exam.

| I used a Sybex Network+ Study Guide by David Groth, went over the test
questions on www.freecomptia.com which are useless for the network+ exam,
used the practice tests at www.techskills.com, and made use of my previous
experience.
What I would suggest to prepare for the exam is to understand the theory,
which www.freecomptia.com can help get it in your head. Then be able to
recognize the output generated by the various tools (Netstat, ARP, Ping,
Tracert). And finally be able to apply the theory to a problem which is
where the Beach front Direct questions were in my opinion the best.
Please do not ask for questions that were on the exam I wrote as I will not
answer those questions
