Broad Band question
|
|
|
| There are many Broadband internet businesses. How does a Business get
on the Internet to begin with?
How do Broadband internet providers provide clients with Internet
Access?
Are their special numbers? Some Kind of computer program?
Thanks

| It depends on the type of broadband. There is Cable - dedicated line,
ADSL -uses the phone line with an ADSL modem (actually a modulator) -
Satellite - uses dish, but sometimes phone line for outgoing, and there are
a few others like T1 etc.

| ISP's get access though a phone companies internet backbone. Usually high
speed fiber optics.
