Thanks, Tical-al

| Have you tried Microsoft's site?

Out of interest, if you plan to go for the MCSA cert, your A+ and Net+
combined count as one elective.

One.
Any Microsoft test will give you an MCP.
With your CompTIA certs, you can take three tests to get an MCSA.
Those three tests coun towards MCSE, so you will only need four more
tests after MCSA to get there.
Take a look here for how the pieces fit together:

Good luck!!

| Very interesting, I did not realize that the mcsa would apply towards mcse.
Was this the route that you took?

| Yes and no. I intended to take 218 and get my MCSA using the A+/N+
credit, but the book I wanted wasn't available yet. I ended up taking
216 first so it counted as an elective for the MCSA.
Other than that, I've stuck to the plan shown in the 10 step.
Unfortunately, life intervened and started slowing down my studies
after the MCSA (step 7).

| Hey, thanks for the info, I was afraid the certs (mcsa and mcse) would
require a complete round of testing for each. Cool site as well!
