Author Question?? I have DSL Earthlink and

working OK. But i see under the
LAN and High Speed
Local area connection
and 1394 connection
they both seem to be working ( Running).I Disabled the 1394 connection
What is that for ? and should i leave on or off????

IEEE 1394 is also known as Firewire. It's a high speed serial port. If you
don't have anything connected to it, disabling it shouldn't make any
difference. I use mine to connect an external hard drive for backups.
