I need yo fix bad clusters on my hard drive. The hard drive would be
just fine, except I need freeware that will fix bad clusters. I have a
Maxtor. I looked on the web site and Powermax doesn't live up to its
expextations.

Any advise?

Thanks

Powermax actually does work wonders on fixing hard drives. The problem is
that to do so you have to use the low level format utility. This of course
deletes the contents of the drive. I have fixed a lot of hard drives with
powermax. If it can't be fixed by powermax it gives you an RMA code for
returning the drive.

Thanks again-In My DOS-Title bar area.It says finished-powermax-but in
another area it says test in. I guess I should wait? I thought
Powermax was finished.
I'll experiment and be patient. Let me know what you think .

Thanks again
