first off DO NOT GET THE examcram network + books... as they are soo
outdated they mention that windows 2000 isn't out yet but is due to be
released.

secondly...

since I alreday got ropeed into buying these books from chapters....

can anyone tell me what I need to learn about wireless networking for the
network + test?
What about linux/unix etc?

You should know that the 802 specification for wireless networking is
802.11. With regards to Linux/UNIX you should know when to use FTP, Telnet,
SAMBA.

Know which protocols are nativily supported by the different versions of
Netware (IPX/SPX in the older versions, I believe before 4.2 and TCP/IP in
later versions). Know which services you need to install on, for example a
WIN NT/2000 server when your have a mixed server environment (Windows and
Novell) and your Windows clients want to access to the Novell server (for
files, printing, etc.)
