Author error in Mike Meyers book?

Ref: Mike Meyers passport for Network Plus, 2002 edition.

Page 156, immediately under figure 6.8:

"Using 3 bits for subnetting: 11111111.11111111.11100000.00000000
(255.255.240.0)"

shouldn't the "240" be 224 ???

Or am I in error?
