He badmouths the spammer because of the way he retaliates. The
retaliation is not just directed at one person, but consumes the
resources of everyone. Which explains why the spammer is so unpopular.
If you need to retaliate, flame him and post as yourself.

As I mentioned, it is not jumping on the band wagon. It is a reaction of
the spammer pissing off the entire newsgroup when his intention is just
to get even with one person.
And, as I mentioned in another post, it is just a matter of time before
the spammer crosses the wrong person. The spammer has already crossed
people who write bots for harmless purposes, how long do you think it
will be before he pisses off those who write bots for more dastardly
purposes?

Makintire is an Irish wanker . I had a truce with him but when I have
issues with others he puts his 2 cents in and he thinks its funny. But
thats cool cos I know he is a cunt and so does he. There are others who try
to attack me but when I retaliate they get upset tossers
