Hi Slammer,
I won't give a testimonial on how cool the Net+ videos are, because I
work for Mike Meyers and therefore don't have an objective opinion.
:-) But I do have some useful info, FWIW.
Because you have a significant amount of networking experience, you
might find yourself skipping parts of the video that are more basic.
Or, you might find that even the basic bits help you get a clearer
idea of what CompTIA covers on the exam.
At any rate, I wanted to point out that Total Seminars sells the
Learnkey Network+ videos at a substantial disount on our web site. Our
current price is US$284, as opposed to $355, so it's a somewhat
smaller investment.
The Network+ video is new this year, and of course it features Mike's
down-to-earth presentation style, which lots of folks seem to like. If
you own a recent A+ or Network+ All-In-One book, there's a sample
video clip on the CD. If you've never watched Mike in action, this is
one way to determine whether you enjoy his style.
