| Hi all,
Taking the big leap on Thursday! Any last advices or tips. Anything that you
guys think that I need to study about that you found on the exam that was
not available in the study material or were tricky?
The study materials I used:
Mike Meyers Net+ all-in-one
Groth-Bergersen (sybex) Net+ study guide
exam cram
net+ for idiots
few simulations and a site called pagesbydave
(http://www.geocities.com/pagesbydave/netplus.html)
Thank you Andy for the discount voucher.
Hope this is the only one I need
I will give my update after the exam.
Thank you,
Robert

Good luck Robert. It sounds like you have done your homework and are well
prepared. Shoot for a perfect score and don't be disappointed with the score
you receive.

| Robert,
I took my test last Thursday. I know how you are feeling. What have I
missed? What will I forget? Do I need to study some areas more than
others? Trust in what you've done so far and you'll do well. The most
intimidating part of the exam for me was pressing the END button to finish
the exam. Oh, by the way, I scored 806! Just go with it and you'll do
well! Best of luck to you...

| John and Andy,
Just out of curiosity, would you know what the lowest possible score is to
pass and how many questions can be missed?
All the things that you mentioned are right on the dot! I keep wondering if
I studied enough or will CompTIA sneak some question in that I never studied
before. I have read through this newsgroup, and have seen a couple of " when
I took the test I was surprised with some of the questions I have never
heard before." I really studied for this exam and hope that my long hours
will pay off.
Thank you for the support guys,
Robert

There are 72 questions and you need 646 out of 900 points The grading scale
is 100-900 and you receive 100 points for starting the exam. I don't have
time for the math right now but it is my understanding that all questions
are weighted equally.

546*72/800 would be the minimum questions to get a pass, or 49.14, so
50 is the safe cutoff. It works out to 68.25%.

| Just to let you know that I have posted my results to the exam,
but I posted it as a new string. You may find it with "Exam results" as the
subject line.
Thank you all for all your knowledge that you have shared.
