For purposes of just passing the net plus exam is troy tech study guide enough?
I am not looking to learn the concepts in depth. i just need to pass the exam.
Is try tech alone enough?

Troytech, nah.. testking is better, and Transcender is too.
What I would rec. is going to google and searching for Network+ free test
questions and go to all the sites and take their free lil demo or whatever
they offer and do that with about 20 different websites and you'll do good.

But I highly rec. Transcender (program) and Testking

Seeing as the Net+ is an entry level certification at best, it would
be better if you knew that concepts before taking the exam.

Any monkey can learn to pass a cert test, but what happens when you
hit a real life situation that doesn't allow the time to "look it up
in the text book"?

No offense, and I'm not calling you a monkey (per se :-) but why would
you spend U$100 + proving you can pass a test on a subject you have no
interst in learning about? Not only does this lower your future
employment prospects, but mine and any other techie who may have to
look for a new job someday.

That's my 2 cents canadian anyway,
