Author Question about a training class for Net+

I am trying to get into a class for Network+ that is being offered through
the H1B grant. This class will be three eight hour days in a training
center, held on consecutive Saturdays. I am guessing that they will also
provide us with the Network+ All-In-One book by Mike Meyers. When I did the
A+ training through the H1B, Mike's book was the textbook of choice for that
class. I passed the A+ exams with ease first time.

My question. Does the class sound like it will provide us with enough chance
to talk with a live instructor and get a good grasp of the material for the
test?

The H1B Grant is funding provided to training centers to train American
citizens in IT/Support positions. As I understand it, the hope is that these
newly trained people will eventually displace foreign nationals working in
the U.S. under work visas.

Bottom line for someone like me who has been out of work for 11 months is
that it provides me with paid training and certification testing to broaden
my job search at a time when I cannot afford the training myself.

What is an H-1B?

The H-1B is a nonimmigrant classification used by an alien who will be
employed temporarily in a specialty occupation or as a fashion model
of distinguished merit and ability.

Tranlsation? Someone who will come from a foreign country to do the
job that one us can deploy here locally.

Go Figure that one out!
