Author Anyone ever use any virtual lab software?

I'm currently in pursuit of my network+ certificate and was wondering if
virtual lab software would help. A perfect example is the Sybex Network+
virtual lab. Is it worth the money? Or a big waste? I'd be using it in
conjunction with a full book on network+.

Thanks

In my opinion, this is one purchase that you do NOT need to make. I
didn't use it, didn't use a "real" system either (other than my own
"normal" PC) and I don't feel that I missed anything because of it. I
would NOT recommend that for the CompTIA exams (the MS MCSA/MCSE exams
are another story).

Not sure if this would be the same as to what I am using and as to
what you are asking but what I am using is a "Router Simulator" to
virtually practice my router configs which saves me lots of time and
headaches prior to putting it to actual use.. so i would say.. yeah
they are worth the money... for sure!
