New Question

Product: Cisco Linksys Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port Switch
Two questions:

(1) Can this product be used as a stand alone switch?

(2) Is there a button on this product that allows me to physically
disconnect the computers from the internet. (Our NetGear hub had a button
that controlled the "uplink" port. This allowed us to physically disconnect
one computer from the others. Is there a similar button on the Cisco
Linksys Router?)

Yes.

There is only one "uplink" button. So the answer would be no.

But there IS an uplink button on the Cisco Linksys router and that one
button stops communication to the uplink port, right?
