Author Wave Technologies Boot Camp for CCNA?

Hi Folks,
I've been lurking for a couple weeks now. I finally got my MCSA by spending
all my free time studying, and now my boss wants me to get a CCNA cert. He's
willing to pony up the cash for a boot camp, so I've been reading whatever I
can in trying to make my decision on which one to attend. I've come down to
Wave Technologies as my choice, but I thought I'd run it by the experts here
first.

Does anyone have any last minute advice for me? Is this a good move or not?
Do you have a good or bad experience with them that you will share here?
I've found a few comments in the archives, but thought I'd look for some
personal advice.

check out Lou Rossi's site at http://www.ccprep.com CCNA camp is $2995 and
includes the hotel and meals you just have to pay for airfare.

If you decide to go make sure you take the class in
Jacksonville---absolutely nothing to do in Jax and you wont get sidetracked
LOL

i went to their ccnp boot camp three years ago and a course developer from
Wave was in the class getting ideas about how Wave would develop their
bootcamp....

I'm curious,
I know for a fact that buying a computer and some books would not make it
easy to pass the Microsoft Certifications. I have worked in computers and
networking for 4 years, plus 4 years of hobbyist before that, yet I had to
study for 6 months to pass the four MCSA tests.
Does buying some Cisco equipment and some video tapes really prepare you to
pass the CCNA cert?

Actually, it's too late. I took the plunge (with my companies money!) and am
signed up for a Wave CCNA boot camp in July. I'll report back here on my
impression of them. If I pass the test but know nothing of Cisco equipment,
you can all say "I told you so". <grin>
