| I have a Cisco 2621 Router. What kind of Wan Module do I need to set it up
with a Cable Modem Broadband connection! I have looked in the Cisco site
but I cannot find a module for cable modem. The router has (2) 10/100
autosensing Ethernet ports, (1) console port, (1) auxiliary port. I would
appreciate any input please. Thanks,
George

| There is no "Cable Modem Interface Card" for "clients" Cisco routers. There
are some cards for Cisco 7xxx series, but they are for carriers (ISPs).
Cisco makes one line of CPE Cable routers - uBR 9xx. If you still want to
use your 2621 router, all you need to do - connect one Ethernet interface to
external cable modem, and another Ethernet interface to your LAN.

| Just to add to the repply given.
You may need to clone the MAC address from the PC you set up the cable
service with onto the router.
Not sure where you live but here in the UK the biggest cable company NTL
uses the MAC address as part of it's authentication.
