what resources, lab exercises, books etc do people recommend for this
certification

| You can't beat Cisco's website for study materials. As I posted
above, there is a tremendous BGP tutorial that was a lifesaver for me.

This is only scratching the surface of what is available.
The Lammle Sybex books are OK. Easy to read, but supplement them with
a hearty dose of CCO.
