Cisco 2500 series question

| Guys,
I'm thinking of buying a couple 2500 series routers for practice and a home
lab/network,
do you think it's worth investing or are these routers going to go obsolete
very soon?
I'm on a tight budget ..

They are already quite obsolete. But for learning purposes, they are
GREAT boxes.
