| I took the exam yesterday and failed with a score of 678.
The passing score was 825, based on 58 questions!
Can anyone tell me what these represent please?
This will help me to identify my area of weakness much better.
Analysis 65%
Modeling 45%
Planning 80%
Study time was approimately 1.5 months using the CCDA Exam Certificate
Guide and BOSON.
I must admit that Boson helped somewhat, but the exam was entirely
different from the format of questions asked on Boson.
Is there any decent forums strictly for CCDA's out there that aren't
seeking to cheat there way to this accreditation?
Oh and the last time I took this exam which was the 640-441, I failed
the first attempt too, so I do not feel bad about it!
Looking forward to hearing from Hopeful CCDA's!
GOOD LUCK to all!

| Took it last week and passed with a 848. Trust me when I tell you; it's a
tough test. Things to really know:
Anything to do with Layer 2
Routing protocols incl. BGP
VoIP
Some IPv6
Cisco SAFE architecture &
Business goals/constraints-Technical Goals/Constraints
Get the DESGN Self-Study book. I found the Cisco ECG book not very thorough
& a waste of money. (including the buggy CD that came with it). Give
yourself a few months studying and invest in the Boson CCDA practice exam.
That should carry you.
There's also a good review at www.tcpmag.com

| Hi Kd,
Timing issues - not really! I finished with approx 10 minutes left.
Case Studies - There was about 6/7 of them that use a new format where
you have 4 questions within that case studies question which represents
1 answered question!
Boson level of questioning wasn't as "twisted" as the actual exam! One
question asked to identify VLSM protocols, 7 choices and 3 to choose
from! Guess how many of the 7 were able to use VLSM?
The case studies were a bit long too, but bearable!
Hope this helps

All braindumps can not guarantee you will pass this though exam. I took
the old version 640-441 exam last year, but I fail. Last week, I took
the new 640-861 and I fail again with score 813 out of 825 (passing
score). So, think twice and study well for this difficult exam since
the passing score is quite high.
