Hi All

I have been preparing for CCNA exam, but somehow, I had the hold book,
Todd Lamle's 640-507. I understand that there are differences between
640-507 and 640-801 in terms of router simulations, OSPF, EIGRP,
Summary Addresses and VLSM.

What I need to know is how much of the new stuff is covered in
640-801. I dont want to buy another book at this stage. I have a lot
of other resources (especially CCNP stuff) which discuss OSPF, EIGRP,
VLSM, Summarization, etc in depth but I don't want to go in more depth
than is required.

Also, I have been practicing router configurations via Simulators and
R1R2 free site, but when I tried to do the labs and questions in
Celtic Rovers website:
http://www.celticrover.com/tig/ccna/ccnareviews.asp
I did not feel very comfortable. Also I lacked knowledge in OSPF and
EIGRP configurations for reasons mentioned above.

So if anybody could point me out the right way and what exactly to
study, it will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

The Flyer.

the netacad text covers EIGRP, and single area OSPF at the CCNP level
(virtually, if not the exact same stuff from semester 5). VLSM is something
you know or you dont'... there isn't additional to it.

you don't need to worry about OSPF on multiple areas.

if i were you, i'd invest in 3 routers. you can do all the routing
protocols you want with this type of setup.
