try adding a static route to the router. ALso the PIX will not alow any outside traffic to the inside network by design unless specificly allowed. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it might be a routing problem. I did try
to add some route statements but I continually got the error message "route
already exists"

I think I may have had the statements the wrong way around.. I will be back
at it next week and try again. The inside of the PIX is the private address
10.7.1.0 and the other side of the ATM are 3 offices with 10.7.2, 10.7,3 and
10.7.5 addresses.

I have enabled RIP. RIP INSIDE PASSIVE

I have never worked with Cisco before, I guess that's obvious.
