Author Passed ICND 640-811

Just wanted to pass along some info. Test was 42 questions and 60
min. Nothing out of the ordinary. I passed the CCNA 3 years ago, and
thought to brush up before going forward. I used Cisco Press ICND
Cert. Guide, Boson Net Sim, and Testout. Testout was very similar to
the exam. My only complaint was on the simulations. The resolution
of the pc was really up there, a real strain on the eyes. When you
accessed one of ther routers, the console popped over the diagram, and
I could not move it out of the way. I ended up copying the diagram
and IP addresses on the plastic sheets provided. I do not recall any
RIP2, or ISDN, must be luck of the draw.

Does TestOut provide simulation software?
Did you have any fill in the blank or drag and drop questions?

That is something I cannot stand, the 640x480 really makes some of the
simulation questions difficult. And of course I've been given the thrid
degree anytime I've asked to have it changed.

Testout has simulation, identical in format to the exam. It also has
fill in and drag and drop. I had only simulation, multiple choice,
and true-false questions on my exam.

Thanks and congrats on the pass. I am taking this one soon to recertify also. Good luck with any other exams. Are you going for CCNP?

Thanks,
Are you aware that you can take a CCNP test and be re-certified on
CCNA? I overlooked that but was so far into ICND that I went for it
anyway. I have started towards BCMSN, although there does not seem to
be as much assistance out there as far as simulators go. Boson is
starting to provide some content, others are still using the old
stuff.
