please help me bypass the eeprom on the boot of my "ebay as is" router I can
only connect through the Aux port. I have tried almost everything that I can
think of

-first there is no show commands that will allow for me to show the password
hash.

-second there is no way for me to initialize the any of the break sequences.

A. by the way what is the break out box? which I tried if I understand it
correctly I connected the #2 pin of the console port to the +v(12v positive)
but no luck.

B. I also tried the "Cisco to aux port" but no luck there either.

-third I tried changing NVram of course no luck, I am getting desperate.

If there is a way to electrically erase the EPROM I think that may work but
is there any long term effects of this?

Hi,
When connected to con0, do you get the usual boot info at startup? From my
exp., it doesn't matter what state the system is in, you should always be
able to "break" the boot sequence from a "Cold Boot". From there you should
be able to change the Config-registry to 0x2101 the bypass NVRAM. Since you
mentioned that the console port is disabled, I take it to mean that "no
exec" was set on con0. You will need to remove that option to re-acquire
that function.
There are several ways to resolve this, just depends on what you are
familiar and comfortable with.

Let me know how you fair out.
