It is an attempt to unlease a virus / trojan horse on multiple computers.
Some worm is causing this to be sent to everyone in the address book of the
computers that it takes over. We've seen this a lot, and we're bound to see
it many times again.
Needless to say, you don't want to open the attachment! Real Microsoft
updates should only be obtained from their web site.
