I have a small Cisco lab consisting of one follwing;

[1] 1900 Catalyst switch and
[2] 1601 modular access routers (no WIC)
DTE/DTC crossover cables
[1] i386 based "firewall" running OpenBSD

The OpenBSD box is connected to outside world via straight Ethernet
and provides NAT for the other network nodes listed above.

I would really apreciate some input on how utilize these units
to obtain as much knowledge about Cisco operation using them in
a "real life" situation (buy WICs?). Right now the routers don't
really do anything.

thanks

Buy two WICs and a Router with 2 Serials to simulate Frame Relay.
I bought a 2504 16/16 for 80 Euro on German Ebay. I have seen lots more of
them because nobody is using Token Ring anymore.

kind regards thomas richter
