Hi, I just got a PIX 501 Firewall and have a question:

I am trying to figure out how to make certain that the same IP address
is always assigned to certain machines based on their MAC addresses.
I want to be able to set the machine to receives its IP dynamically,
however, I would like the PIX to always give it the same IP. My ISP
is changing DNS servers often enough that it is a pain to re-configure
the machine each time if the IP is set to static. Can someone give me
a clue how to make certain this happens? I have about 4 machines I
need to do this with.

Thanks much,
Riprazor

Why don't you set the DNS servers to a server that does not change, like
Verizon, SBC, Sprint, etc....
There are alot out there that you can use, and you don't have to use the one
your ISP is utilizing at the moment.

Here is the Verizon Servers:
4.2.2.1
4.2.2.2

Hope this helps..
