| Hi People,
Thanks for the tip Richard;
Can someone tell me if i don't register for cisco certification by the end
of this month, then when can i get register with it. Because i want to take
exams next year and if i register now then as i have been told i have to
take exam within the next 6 weeks.
So if u guys have any idea then please let me know that, when is it likely
that next registeration process will take place? and i would like to take
exam for CCNA 640-607. So next year is it gona be same (CCNA 640-607) or
they will switch to some other CCNA cert?

| Cisco certs, like others, do not have a concept of a "year" like a school.
You register for the test when you are ready to take it. The 607 test is
being retired and will be replaced with the 801. Sept 30 is the last day to
reg for the 607, and 6 weeks from there is the last day to take it. After
the end of the this month, you will only be able to register for the 801. I
took the 801 last week and found it very easy, your miliage may vary. I
would suggest the 801 over the 607 as the 801 is more in step with the way
things currently are (i.e. no token ring).
If you want to take the 607, you have 9 days to register.
