| Has anyone taken the CCNA Practice test in semester 4 ?
I just did and it beat the pants of me !!!

| If you mean the voucher exams, the first one I did was pretty easy, 90
something percent. I did the other 2, just to keep my head in it for the
CCNA. My second attempt was about 76% tho, and the third attempt was 80
something. The rule is don't get complacent, and never forget what was
drummed in during semester one. The later exams try to get you to question
the fundamentals. My final was semester 4 grade was 89% I think. Not bad
considering I got a new born son in the middle of it :-)

| If you mean the practice test from the Exam Certification Guide, then there
are things that the practice exam covers that are not directly covered by
the Academy. My teacher informed us of this at the beginning of semester 4.
The Exam Certification Guide will have the information that wasn't directly
covered. If you don't have this book, get it and study it well before going
into the exam. There are concepts and terms from the earlier semesters that
need to be re-enforced and some new terms that you need to get a handle on.
The practice test can tell you what chapters in the book to study when you
miss a question.
There is also the practice exam from the Cisco site, but I haven't attempted
that one yet. I'm going through the flash-card practice kit and finding out
how much I don't know yet.

| Jesus,
I had the same feeling. After passing all the finals I felt pretty
good until I got a whopping 37 on the Semester 4 CCNA Practice Exam. Now I'm
thinking of going to work at Burger King or some other line of work...

| Yeah, thats the one I got 89% on. Didn't think it was that hard tho, I
didn't really study for that one. I found that after the net-acad, I spent
alot of time just reading stuff on the net, taking as many free exams as I
could find. I probably learnt more in the 3 months after the netacad than
during it. Just study 24-7. That is the only way, ingrain the cisco way of
doing things. Out of 30 odd people that started at the net-acad with me,
only 7 finished. And from that 7 only 3 have sat the CCNA. The last guy was
quite scholarly;-). Didn't help him tho. Only 2 passes thus far. I spent a
whole month eating and sleeping cisco failed first attempt, 839/1000, and
spent a further 3 weeks and passed, 913/1000. It just takes hard work. But
never let the pre-tests foil you.
Mark
PS sorry for rambling on.

Hi
It is similar to the cisco academy semester exams so it is easy. Some
questions are identical to those from chapters exams and rest of them are
the same type. I don't remember how many questions and how long much time do
you have, I finished it in about 35-40 minutes.
Good luck

| The voucher exam is closer to a comprehensive final over Semesters 1 - 4.
Mine was something like 54 questions.
