Access 350 AP - no console cable - How?
|
|
|
| Hi all,
I need to reset a AP i recently bought off ebay, It has arrived carrying a
config and when I power it up I cannot associate to it - suspect WEP is
configured etc. I dont currently own an AP console cable (9 pin serial - 9
pin serial) and so I cant enter the required ;resetall command.
Anyone know how I can gain access - dont even know if ethernet port is up?
Guess I'll have to find a console cable!
Just in case - thought I'd ask
TIA

| I believe you need a standard "null-modem" cable to console in. You may
still run in to trouble if it is password protected. The information you
should need is at
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products...0800949d0.shtml
Hope this helps,
