boson practice tests ... Well my questions to all the gurus here is
that is that enough doing boson ??? .What are the areas in which i
should concentrate more on ...
Are there ipx and isdn questions .... and regarding simulations what
type of sims can we accept.. IF any of you have recently taken ccna or
palnning to take ccna could enlighten me more it would be a gr8 help
for me to take the exam.
Any tips and tricks about the exam are also welcome ...

Thanx in advance

You know I am sitting here and reading people who are taking the CCNA exams
and here is the deal.
You need to know this stuff. Alot of companies have IPX network and ISDN
(BRI/PRI) for backups. This not towards you. But I'm tired of people who
want to
get into this field and just want to learn the min.. To alot of us, this is
our career and it's not just a job. We like what we do. We are also lucky
that it can pay well.
So, the answer to your question is yes, there is IPX and ISDN questions. I
wish you luck in the exam. And again, sorry if you feel that I'm coming
down on you.

There are not any IPX questions on the exam...period! Cisco took them out of
the exam in April of this year. They also extended the exam to 90 minutes
with 60 questions. I took the exam on May 27th. Good luck

I am taking the CCNA this coming friday. I failed the first exam last year
because i was too gungho and misinterpreted what Cisco wanted me to do in
the simulations. This time I am reading the ICND book very closely and am
paying attention to Subnetting and IOS commands. I got lots of questions on
that the last time round. I got 832 the last timte. Well, I
am aiming to ace this one. Spend more time on configuring routers and
subnetting. There is no such thing as trying to spot the questions.

Regarding simulations, u can get a free but basic simulation question at
http://www.semsim.com

i bought a copy n found the troubleshooting pretty helpful.

i just passed the CCNA last monday. Well, i think the time is not fixed at 90 mins coz weirdly my clock was set at 120 min during the 2nd test!

anywayz... i failed the first test taken jun (before they introduce the new paper). In the 2nd test i took there was a good number of troubleshooting questions, which is different from the first one where it was mostly questions on definitions.

They will give you a senario and ask u wat is wrong.

What is the same in both test i took was there are TWO simulation questions.

My advise will be, remember your definitions, and the topic on ISDN and WAN. Hope this bit of information helps.
