Is there any db9 male to rj 45 cable?
Can i connect a token ring to a fast ethernet?

| sorry, no. not gonna happen.
they might both be able to be used for IP, but thats where the similarity
ends.

But then i need to test anotherthing.
Can i connect my switch 1900 from the AUI port (with a transciver for RJ45)
to a serial port of my router?

| No. The AUI port is Ethernet. True, a transceiver will let you connect it
to a traditional RJ45 connector on your 1900 switch. A serial port is not
Ethernet. It uses a totally different type of communication, and
encapsulations such as HDLC, SLIP, PPP, etc, but not Ethernet.
