I'm considering the CCNP - is any of the 4 exams what the 216 is for the MCSE?
ie, is there any 'THE BEAST' for the CCNP?

| I think the MCSE exams are a joke. Very easy questions, and very LOW
required pass scores. ( yes I have a 2k MCSE, I won't bash a cert unless I
have it :P ) I'd say ALL of the CCNP exams are beasts compared to the MCSE
stuff!

To be fair, when I had experience, access to equipment, and proper
preparation, I didn't find either all that hard. I think one of the
major reasons that the CCNx certs have the mystique of being harder is
because so many attempt them without ever touching a router. On the
other hand how many people don't have access to PC's when taking MCSE
exams? If I had never seen or touched a PC, I'd probably think the
MCSE was butt hard too!

| A lot depends on your experience. Some of the CCNP tests were easier
for me than the MSCE tests simply because I didn't know as much about
computers or networking when I was going for my MCSE (I did that
first.). I did my CCNA/CCNP years later after being the field.
Although my experience would be different now, my memory believes the
hardest test I took was Windows 95 to get my MCP. It was my first.
Now, that test would seem kind of easy if I took it again.
