hi ,is the cisco 1005 router any good for practice basic routers to
get ready for ccna?

Sure. It uses the same IOS as most other Cisco routers. If it's the only
router you have, though, you'll be limited because you won't be able to
configure RIP, turn up interfaces, etc. Some of the simulated labs out there
(I used Sybex Gold edition) are pretty useful for practicing these things.
