According to Cisco, the material presented is the same for both test numbers. However, the format of the test is more interactive on the "607". Cisco IOS, IP subnetting and the OSI models don't change a whole lot, so the material portion should work fine
for fundamental work.

Cisco told me to use the "507" book and save myself about $60.00.
