| Anyone else had trouble with the labs on this thing not working right -
specifically, not handling interfaces and routing correctly? (CCNA Virtual
Lab software)
Was trying to use this thing to study for CCNA. What a joke. Guess I will
buy the alternate product for lab simulation.

| Forget the simulators they have limited functionality at best
get your hands on a real router (checkout ebay) or rent some time :-)
We are even giving away free time this month
check it out www.acorn-internet.net

| Yeah, I checked out your site yesterday. I'm still debating whether it will
be necessary. I might need some time for the CCNP section. Thanks for the
suggestion.
I will agree that the simulators are limited. Considering mine came with the
purchase of the book, I really can't complain that much. It's quite funny
when I run into instances where its not doing what it's supposed to though,
and I know from experience how the router should respond to a given
command...
The people I feel for are those who have no real-world experience with any
vendor's (or Cisco's) routers and are trying to make sense of the exercises.
I spent the last three years putting in Nortel's Shasta product, which was
designed by David Ginsburg and company (who all left Cisco), so their
command line isn't completely alien to me - the syntax is usually just
shifted a bit... I also had some limited Cisco experience prior to working
for Nortel, so I'm just re-familiarizing myself...
