Hello

I took my first Cisco cert today and failed

835 but pretty close. Funny thing is I thought the test was easy. I just
cant figure out what was wrong. According to the score report my weakest
areas are Cisco & Networking basics. what does that cover? What type of
questions, LAN technologies and Network Management. What about the
simulations, when are they finihsed? Even though I was more than confident
on what was need to be done for that particular question I felt like my
answers were not recorded. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I
should brush up on. Now I know to not really worry too much about IPX or
ISDN. Anyways please let me know if you have any suggestions

Thanks

Rich

Just bad luck Rich.
Just go back to your books and study some more. You just had a bad day and
it happens. I'd suggest, like I do to some work students, to ensure you are
VERY happy with frame relay, ISDN and switching before you sit the exam
again. I rememer the test being a tricky little number when I did it in
'99.
