Look into Netflow Accounting. Been around since ver 11.2...

Although you don't need a Netflow Data Collector to see the stats -
you can just look at them from the router CLI - you can get one for
free from various open source developers, rather than pay Cisco lots
of dosh. Perhaps the best known is cflowd - search on Google for it.
