Revision to Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) program

The new CCDP program structure will reflect the latest developments

in network design and technologies incorporating converged networking

solutions.

Retiring Four Focused Certifications

In response to changes in market needs, Cisco will retire four focused

certifications - Cisco Internet Solutions Specialist, Cisco SNA/IP

Design Specialist, Cisco SNA/IP Support Specialist, and Cisco Security

Specialist 1.

Adjusted Recertification Policy for CCNA & CCDA

To recognize those candidates who demonstrate skills beyond their

current certification status, Cisco will adjust its recertification

policy at the Associate level, CCNA & CCDA. If a recertification

candidate passes any new exam at the professional or Cisco Qualified

Specialist level, the candidate will be considered recertified at the

CCNA or CCDA level.

Revised Security Courses

Cisco is proud to announce the release of three revised security

courses covering the newest PIX, VPN & IOS security technologies.
