Cannot activate the access-lists created.

| I have three routers, all with one ethernet and two serial. I have created
a simple access list but when I go to activate in the interface command
line, the only is only "access-expression" and no "access-group" command
listed when a access? command is entered. I am running 11.2 ISO.
Anyone have any ideas?
